The double-sided design features a toughened glass back panel.

The variety of installation options include front or back fitted, plus with or without an exposed flange. It offers home renovators, developers, builders and interior designers the flexibility to achieve the look they want. The Firebox 900DB is used in construction of the Ecosmart Vision, and is the ideal choice for indoor installations in apartments, houses, and commercial premises including offices, restaurants and bars where it can be used as an attractive window feature.

Ecosmart uses environmentally friendly, Denatured Ethanol (eg methylated spirits) as its fuel source. Ethanol is a renewable resource and can be refined from flora such as potatos or sugar cane. Ethanol will even burn cleanly with carbon dioxide and water the primary by-products. Because there arent any dangerous gasses released, Ecosmart Burners can be used indoors without fluing or permanently open vents.

The flame hight in the Ecosmart burner can be easily adjusted, using the lighting rod to partially close the shutter.

The Ecosmart fires look amazing, but it is not purely ascetic. The unit will heat 35 sq metres (on average) and will continue burning for up to 20 hours (7 hours on high).

Clearances

There are no requirements for side or overhead clearances as spacers are aspects of the design.

It is recommended to have a 1000mm clearance between the front of the unit and the nearest combustible material.

The unit is designed as a zero clearances unit and can be installed into a wall or cavity of combustible or non-combustible materials
